Enjoying Branson Once Again!

Last week the girls and I made a trip to Branson for a few days to visit my family.  It had been many years since my grandmothers had been there, and it was a great week for everyone!
Mom was quick to entertain the girls with the Butterfly Palace.  The pictures are deceiving!  It was an interesting place, but we were a bit disappointed.  Mallory was terrified of the butterflies.  Brooklyn liked them as long as they didn't get too close, which they did!  Needless to say, we sped through that part!

This is my favorite picture of mom and the girls yet!  Love that B has the binoculars backwards.  She argued over and over again that they only worked that way!
I was fascinated by this room.  Seeing first hand the butterfly transformation was incredible.

They had a mirror maze that was the hit of the place, well until Brooklyn hit one so hard she fell over.  Oops, that changed the mood a bit!

Mallory's favorite part...the turtles.  She loved to explain them to you over and over again.  "This is the daddy turtle, the momma turtle and the baby turtle."
I can't remember what I promised B to smile for this picture.  It had to be big!  This was after the daze of the maze!
The next day we all went and so the incredible Chinese Acrobats.  They were loved by us all.  This picture is B's favorite.  She had to show it to all her neighbor friends when she got home.  She was super shy about taking the picture and made me join.  Too bad I'm the giant!

We thought we had good sleeping arrangements until everyone decided to sleep with me on the pull out couch.  This was the first time the girls had slept together and I thought they were pretty cute.
I have to say my favorite thing about the few days we spent was not the shows or the food, but it was the last morning where we all piled into one of the condo's and played cards.  I was able to play with both of my grandmothers and Aunt SheShe.  It was a special time for me and the girls loved having full reign of the place.  I am so thankful that we had that time to spend together.  It definitely filled my heart and I love any extra time the girls can spend with my grandmothers.  Gave me all kinds of warm and fuzzies!
